You do not need money to start freelancing what you need is to be good at something, and if you are not good you can learn it, it might take you a month to learn a skill and it can pay you for the rest of your life.
My advice is this; you need to follow these three steps if you want to become a successful freelancer.
- Be good at something if not learn something and do it until you become good.
- Offer the service for free to a few people, this will do you two things, first, it will prove that you are good at that thing ( you will get feedback by offering free service) also you can ask people who received your free service to give you reviews in Fiverr or Upwork.
- Charge for your service. Now you know that you are good at something and you have reviews you can leverage that and start charging people for your service.
Instagram is hot right now, if you do not have an Instagram page, I will recommend starting one, you can build your Instagram from the scratch, and in a few months from now, you can make a living from it.
In order to profit from Instagram first, you need to pick a niche that you are going to build a page around.
Figure out what are big accounts in your niche and study the type of content they post and create your content in the same way.
Start interacting with people who interact with those pages and follow people who are active, most of these people will start following you, and if you post the same line of content as those big pages they will interact with your page too, this way you will grow your account.
When posting images on Instagram use hashtags so that you can attract people who are not in the circle we discussed above.
You will need to be consistent if you want to be successful on Instagram, I will recommend posting at least three times a day especially if you are just starting out.

As your account gets bigger you will be able to have brand deals, in each niche, there are some brands that will pay influencers big money in order to get more exposure.

Youtube is getting bigger and bigger, most people consume a lot of videos in their daily life, and you can get that piece of the pie by creating your own Youtube channel.
I included Youtube as a free way to start your own business because it does not require any investment from you apart from the video recording device, you can do it using your phone or your computer, if you can read this, means you have everything you need to start a youtube channel.
Your video will look wild at the start of your youtube channel but with time you will get better and with the money you make you will invest in better equipment.
The secret to making money on youtube is to pick a niche, make a few videos, find out what type of videos people like, and make more of them.
You need to be consistent if you want to make money on youtube, I will recommend posting at least three videos per week until your channel gets some traction, and then you can change your schedule.

All you need to do is to send traffic to your design, and they will do the rest, the printing, handling the payment, the shipping, and refunds, and they will give you your cut for each sale.
This works well if you have a youtube channel or Instagram page, you can combine one of these two methods and send traffic to your design page and create another source of income for yourself.
Social media agency
Most people and companies what to grow their social media profiles, but they do not know how, if you can learn to grow your social media following you can start your own social media agency and help these people to grow their social media accounts.
All you need to do is first learn how to do it, and after that, you can contact the pages you see are struggling and offer them your service.
